I thought this all tasted like a whole lot of nothing. It wasn't terrible but I will not be making it again.

I worked in a restaurant that made this sauce fresh everyday. The part that is left out so you dont get a watery sauce is
first: drain off the moister thats in yogurt for a couple hours. (coffee filters work fine for this
Second: scrape out the seeds in the cucumbers, dice them up then salt them a little bit and wait about 30-60 mins for the moister to be pulled out. Shake off salt Then mix together. Without the Cumin imo. Oh and it needs to rest in the fridge for awhile.
Hope this helps a few with being to watery

I made this tomatillo sauce to serve with tri-tip tacos. It was amazing. All of my guests, even my 10-yr-old daughter, loved it!

WOW I am very surprised at the low ratings for this one. I found this recipe wonderfully flavorful. The sauce was a little watery, but I just added more yogurt and it filled out nicely. In fact, that sauce would be good with any other fish or even chicken. My husband loved it too. High seasoning is always the best, Kosher salt always and to me, it was a good thing!

We loved this recipe. It was light & full of flavor. We served it on Pita bread rather than tortillas. The sauce was watery, like the others said, but it still tasted great. I am generous with salt in everything I cook so when I made the marinade for the fish, it got salted well. I also salted the sauce well so the flavors all came out well. The others who said the dish was bland may not have salted it well enough since the recipe doesn't state how much to use. My husband even loved this & he is normally pretty picky. YUMM-O

The sauce was horrible! Cumin just brought out the bitterness of the cucumber and was way too thin to put on the tacos-we wound up just throwing it away. The fish was just ok.

Disappointing recipe. Very bland, something was definitely missing, and the sauce was super watery. I find Rachel's recipes are poorly laid out.

this should be called a mediterranean fish wrap, perhaps prepared with a greek pita bread ( very tasty, instead of a flour tortilla.

We thought this was good but could use a little kick of something. My mom and i liked the lemon flavor but my brother, who just ate the fish, complained it was way too lemony. The sauce was good and easy. I made part of it without cucumbers for me and I liked it.
However, it was definitely not a 30 minute meal. I made a greek salad with it. Overall, pretty good.
