Scoop out ice cream into small bowls. Crush corn cereal in your hands (or in a re-sealable plastic bag) and top the ice cream. Sprinkle with cinnamon and drizzle with honey.
This recipe was fantastic! I love fried ice cream and especially loved that this was not "fried". I didn't thaw the ice cream and I crushed the cereal in a plastic sandwich bag and sprinkled the cinnamon in and shook it up. I scooped the ice cream out of the carton and rolled it around in the cornflakes. The honey topping was fantastic! We also used chocolate syrup and strawberries. Will definitely make this again!
I love this recipe. My family wants this on every holiday and birthday. I switch it up some. One child requested dutch choc ice cream. I use 2 thin premaid graham cracker crusts which I put in a 13x9 pan. A thick layer of cool whip which is remarkable frozen. Then the cinnamon corflakes by a famous brand. Freeze and then honey drizzle makes it. It is quick and easy and perfect. Thanks Rachael Ray. Serve it frozen.
While I was in the store buying ice cream I got waffel cones. I crunched them up a bit and used them instead of cereal. It depends on how you feel about waffel cones, but I adore them. Very good
