Flavorful and yummy! (I did double the garlic and spices for a little more seasoning. Great recipe, will definitely make again!

Loved this!!! The flavors are something else. Be sure to serve with chicken mixture on bottom and couscous on top. Definitely a company dish and your home will smell wonderful!

Tried this recipe the other day and it was no bueno. Like other reviewers, with the amount of season the dish required, I was super surprised at how bland the dish was. I tasted it the next day, hoping time would make it taste better, and it didn't help. I will not be making this dish again, sorry Rachael

I made it for dinner tonight. Delicious! So easy. I made it with dried cherries and apricots.

Very yummy. The smell was amazing, and the flavor was exotic.

This is one of my go-to recipes, and I'm not sure why I've never rated it. It's not 5 minutes and you're done, but it's not very difficult, either. And it yields up a really tasty meal. Just make sure you use all the lemon rind and juice-- it makes a big difference!

Tasty but didn't have the bold flavors I expected. I used figs, apricots and raisins, used 1 1/2 teaspoons of each spice,(1/2 teaspoon cinnamon, and added 1/2 teaspoon cayenne. I'll definitely make this again...maybe with lamb.

I was disappointed that I couldn't taste the wonderful spices in the end-product. I also should have used less lemon juice. I would not make this again, as another recipe on Food Network is better (no specific chefs - just the Food Network Kitchen.

This is a 5 star winner b/c it was tasty, satisfying, easy prep and was prepared solely w/ pantry staples! This was a last minute "well what can I do w/ these chicken thighs" weeknight dish. W/ very little prep and using only what was in my pantry (which meant I left out the olives and pine nuts and substituted light bulgur for cous cous and veggie for chicken broth I could not believe how fantastic this was-my husband absolutely loved it! The dried apricots gave it just the right amount of sour and sweet, and while I'm sure figs and dates would be great, they would provide a richer but more mellow taste. We really didn't miss the olives, but I might give it a try next time if I prepare in advance to make this, but again, the beauty is that I could whip it up w/ no advanced planning! Served it w/ roasted asparagus on the side and called it a night!

Absolutely amazing recipe!!! So full of flavor, and the pinch of cinnamon really brings this dish together. I also added 1/4 teaspoon of cayenne pepper, we like it spicy! Thanks Rachael
