I made this last night after watching Rachel make it last week. Amazing flavors! I used chicken breasts instead of thighs an followed another writer's suggestion to use golden raisins, apricots & dried cherries - fantastic! Definitely company-worthy!

My husband and I really enjoyed this treat. I used dried apricots and it added a hint of sweet to the chicken.

My husband and i love this meal, its second time i make it and will make it again and again.

Follow the recipe as much as possible because the seasoning and the fruits has to balance each other! It can easly be a not good meal if you dont!

I doubled the amount of chicken and doubled the amount of spices. Also, I added sliced dried figs and two handfuls of chopped sugared dates, which enhanced the sauce by slightly sweetening it. My family has raved about it.

I have made this many times, the entire family loves it. I have also made it for company, it has been a big hit each time. I add more spices and a little cardamom. I have used many combinations of fruits, but enjoy apricots/golden raisins, tart cherries the most.
This is also very easy to make.

After reading the mix of reviews I was a little hesitant to try this, but I was pleasantly surprised, especially because I'm normally not a fan of paprika. I did make a few adjustments. I left out the olives because I just didn't see them meshing well with apricot (i also used dates. I also only used 2 cups chicken broth and left out the lemon juice. My only complaint was that the chicken was a little over cooked, so I would just add everything in a few minutes early. As far as the oil issue, I had no problem. I never measure oil, always eyeball it, and I never have any problems. Besides if you end up needing more you can always just add some.

This looked so yummy when she made it - but somehow it missed the mark. It was OK, but nothing special. Most likely will not make it again.

My family did not enjoy this combo of flavors. That it was also VERY oily did not help.
