even thought it took me longer than 30 minutes, it certainly was worth the effort. The soup was delicious, my family enjoyed it and I will be making it again nad again.

The only changes I made to this wonderful soup was I used all chicken broth and added escarole instead of spinach. Will make this recipe again.

This has to be the best soup I have ever tasted. It was way too simple to taste that good! The meatballs were so good I had to double the amount the next time I made them.

I have spent hours making homemade soup and this 30 minute recipe was as good as any I spent the hours on. A must try soup.

Was looking for a Meatball Stew recipe when I came across this. My youngest Brother has never had anything but great things to say about Rachel's recipe's..now I know why.

I didn't change much, but did add carrots and did not use veal in the meat.

The fat from the meat added the most wonderful flavor to the soup..I and my friends could not get enough!

This is fabulous!!! I added Rotel and substituted ground turkey for the meat...the aroma filled the house while the soup filled our souls...yum, yum...

This recipe has made it to my all time favorite soup list. The whole family enjoyed it and it was oh so easy and quick to put together. My grocery store only had the ground pork/beef mixture and the meatballs turned out great anyway. The only thing I do different is instead of adding spinach to the whole pot I add it individually to each bowl then pour the hot soup over it and it wilts up nicely. This way it does not get overcooked when you have leftovers. I will also in the future let the meatballs simmer w/o adding the pasta so I can cool and defat the broth...trying to cut down on the families fat intake. My husband was so proud to sit down to lunch with the guys at work while they heated up their frozen dinners and he had this delicious soup.

I happeded to catch this episode last week, and tried it for dinner last night. My family raved over the soup. The meatballs were delicious and the broth fantastic. The looks and smell were enough to bring every one to the table. This is a keeper, we will have it again.

I make it at least once a month. The great thing about it is that I don't feel guilty about eating it and it fills me up- even my boyfriend who is typically a meat and potatoes kind of guy loves it. I substituted the meat for ground turkey because I don't eat red meat or pork and small elbow macaroni instead of the rings because I can never find those in my grocery store.
