which made this 30 minute recipe a 20-25 minute recipe, with no compromise on taste! :- rachael ray's meatloaf recipe from the meatloaf with smothered mushrooms menu is nearly identical to the meatball recipe here, so it's a good sequence of meals...
also threw in the heels of two small Parmesan blocks to the soup and let that flavor seep in.
this was great way to warm up on a cold fall day. and the kids slurped their bowls clean, spinach and all. :-

Very tasty, enjoyed this soup several times! I use a small cookie dropper, (divide the meat in half before rolling to make the same size meatballs. I also just use sausage and beef without any veal. Use a spicy breakfast sausage for a yummy twist. I have given out so many samples to neighbors, now they are asking when I am going to make it agian!! Any mac. that you have on hand will work, no need for special pasta! It all taste great!! I usually have to add more water and/or chicken stock to the mix. I also add a dash or two of celery seed and chicken granules for more intense flavor. Never made the grilled cheese, so can not comment on those!

Great soup and after making it several times, it's easy to modify with different types of pasta, adding tomatoes to the mix, or a bit of extra veggies. I've made it for family and a large gathering of guests as well. It's even better the next day.

this was great served with some bread for dinner! Everyone loved it even picky kids! I made it pretty close to what the recipe called for except I added a cup more water (since I read in other reviews that the pasta soaked up all the broth and it worked out perfectly! I used small shells as the pasta since it was what I had.

I add garlic pepper sauce from the Thai foods aisle. It really makes this soup great.

This recipe is delicious. It's also adaptable to whatever vegetables you have on hand. I suggest having extra chicken stock on hand for leftovers since the pasta soaks most of it up. Or, you could just serve it like a pasta for leftovers. I will definitely make this again and again.
