My family, and my boyfriend, all loved this soup. I make different variations of it, as it can get a bit thick with so many ingredients. I sometimes do not include the pasta, and/or instead of spinach I will also use savoy cabbage, it adds a very tasty twist to it. I highly recommend this recipe!

I have always loved Italian Wedding Soup but thought it was too hard to make. I saw Rachel make this recipe and figured I would give it a try -- WOW -- I loved the soup and it was VERY easy to make. My (Italian boyfriend LOVED it and bragged to his family how terrific it was. The only thing I will do differently is NOT put the pasta into the soup (it soaks up too much of the broth but add it (already cooked to the soup just before serving it. Thanks Rachel !

My family and I really liked this soup. I will add much less ditalini next time I make it--I strained out more than half of the pasta before serving because there was just too much (easy remedy. Aside from that, great recipe.

This is a wonderful soup that actually tastes like it has been simmering for hours. I used orzo for the pasta and cooked it in salted water first before adding it to the soup. This recipe will remain in my recipe file. It was loved by all in our family.

This soup was very tasty and easy to make. My eight year old daughter loved helping to make the meatballs. It is also a great way to get them to eat spinach!!! It did take me longer than thiry minutes to make but worth the effort.

My husband and my kids loves the soup. They don't really like spinach but this soup had them asking for more! It's so easy to make! I modified the way to make the soup. I boiled the pasta in chicken broth, drained it and set it aside. I put the a serving of pasta in each soup bowl I serve so that way the pasta does not get soggy. Also, I set the spinach in a serving bowl and have my husband and the kids put as many or as little spincah as they want in their soup bowl, that way it won't wilt or turn brown and the vitamins stay intact. It's fun for the kids because they control the amount of vegetables they want and they love it!
