These are my husbands favorite cookie. They have a nice, subtle mint flavor. It doesn't hit you in the face, but I don't think I'd want that in a chocolate chip cookie.

I think I like thin mints better than trying to alter a chocolate chip recipe.

I absolutely love mint so I was really excited to eat these...over a week later, the full batch of cookies are still in a ziploc bag waiting to be thrown out. These were nothing like I imagined. The cookies had a mint flavor but not the strong mint that came out at you and the cookies ended up flat. They just weren't that great. I have no plans on making these again, ever.

I made several batches them for the first time yesterday--they were super-easy to make, and I added my own twist by dipping half of each cookie in melted semi-sweet chocolate. When they were cool and the chocolate set, I dusted them with confectioner's sugar, and they were a huge hit, both at home and among the friends I gave them to. I have a feeling these yummy cookies are going to become a Christmas staple at my house.

I have made this but used other flavorings as my husband doesn't like mint. I have used almond extract and orange extract. I am thinking of trying rum extract or maybe raspberry extract and use white chocolate chipes. I also made my cookies from scratch. I don't use mixes.

Such a simple idea, but it makes a really tasty cookie! Will experiment with other flavored extracts too. Thanks!

I thought the cookies were delicious. I ate them with Vanilla ice cream because having two things of mint would be to much for me, but still they were amazing. I love them and I will continue making them through the Holidays. Merry Christmas.
