This recipe earned a rare honor in our home..."Please make it again!" I've got two picky teens, and this stromboli recipe pleased everyone. It's so easy to tweak the heat in this recipe by controlling the meat or cheese used. We made each stromboli with just a slice of provolone, a slice of genoa salami, two thin slices of smoked ham, and two larger pepperoni slices. We served marinara on the side so it could be used as a dip, as a sauce to cover, or left off completely. So, so yummy!

This was fabulous and my husband loved it. My kids put whatever they wanted in it, as well. Great for the whole family!

This was an excellent recipe. Very yummy although it was a little heavy on the meat - a little salty, but still good. I did not see the episode on t.v. so I had to guess how to roll up the strombolis. I would add some more cheese next time, or maybe a combination of mozza + provolone. I had to cut into my stromboli to check if the dough was cooked through but I couldn't really tell, so I cooked them for about 5 minutes longer. At this point they were very well-browned so I think next time I make these, I will cook them at a slightly lower temperature for a longer amount of time. I didn't use sesame seeds or cornmeal but I didn't miss either. I loved spicy foods, so the amount of red pepper flakes that the recipe called for was perfect for me. I made a salad and homemade marinara sauce to go and it was a perfect meal!

This is so good! Any toppings can be used, canadian bacon and crushed pineapple was good. We've also used salami, olives, mushrooms, etc. Yum!

Each time I've made these, they burn on the bottom, so I will reduce the heat and cook them a little longer next time. I always spray the foil wtih Pam also to help with sticking.

Yummy in my tummy! If you love the meats in it, you will love the stromboli. I think adding the seasonings on top really make it taste like it is from a pizza place. Great dipping sauce, too. I love this dinner with a caesar salad.

My sister and I saw this on 30 Min Meals several years ago and we decided to try it. Well our family went ga-ga. So much so that we found a mediterranean import and deli (That isn't so easy in OKC and made it twice a week for at least two months. My sister doesn't cook anymore, but I adore it and still make this recipe when I need something quick and fantastic for my family. the only thing i really change is that I add bread crumbs and a lot of garlic powder. And I layer in at least two layers of Provolone (my favorite cheese. I have to go, my stombli are finished in the oven.

My family loved this and ask for it often. It would be great cut up as an appetizer and as one poster said you could easily try it with different ingredients which I plan to do sometime. I make extra now and my son takes it in his lunch the next day. It's great cold too!

The kids loved these. I had low fat pepperoni on hand and used it. The provolone was excellent. I watched this episode, but forget how she rolled them. The instructions are a little confusing. The first time I folded them over, the second time we rolled them (I think this is what I was suppose to do. Either way...yummy

Very tasty and easy to prepare. The second time I made this I also added italian bulk sausage to the meat mix. It worked, but I put the sausage on the pizza crust first so I could still roll it up easily.
