I made them the same way the recipe said and they turned out really good. My husband loved them. Then I made them some w/ steak & cheese and some w/ spinach & cheese; which where so good too! These will be something I make for a really long time. I will never call out for stromboli again.

These were so easy to throw together I couldn't believe how fast dinner was made! I served them with a side of Three Alarm Italian Style Chili Mac leftovers and a salad. Before he was even finished eating, my 9 year old asked when we could have these again!

Our store was out of capicola, but they were still great. Don't overstack the meat (be careful to have the deli cut your pepperoni thin or they can be a bit heavy.

I had to cook mine at least 10min longer than the recipe showed, but that might be because I had thicker dough-- dunno. Otherwise I just used jarred Marinara sauce, and made my own Itallian seasonings to throw on top. It was amazing how quick and simple this was. Tastes wonderful. Next time I might add more cheese...

I took these to a finger food party and they were gone before I even had the chance to try one. Yum-O! I now have these in my fridge all the time for my kids to snack on. Great fun food.

Being a college student with limited ingredients and tools, my usual idea of cooking is "easy-mac" or hamburger helper. I saw this recipe however and had to give it a shot because I was tired of paying 15-20 bucks every time I had a stromboli delivered.
I must say it was quite a success; cheap, easy, quick, and delicious. The one thing I thought this was missing was some sausage or meatball to give it a heartier texture, so next time I will be throwing that into the mix. I started cooking just before game time and it was on the table by first pitch, devoured by the end of the first inning.
I would definitely consider this "Man-food", and think it would go over well with most all men/teen boys. Also note that it's low mess so if you are a cool mom/wife/g.f. it could even be eaten on the couch while the you all watch the big game.
p.s. This is my first recipe I have ever tried to cook, and if I can do it, you can too.

I've been making this recipe for over a year and it's so awesome. I even cut the dough into 16 pieces instead of 4 and made cute little strombolis. I used toothpicks to keep them together. My friends loved it and always ask me to make them.

I love this recipe, and have made it several times. I changed it up a bit to make it healthier by using turkey pepporoni and ground turkey instead of ham and salami. Very delicious!
