    Good Blend

Added a little brown sugar to bring out the flavors and to add a little more sweetness. Like sipping on an apple pie.

    Great Christmas Eve drink

Rated: 5 stars out of 5
Never having made mulled cider before, but hearing how it is a traditional Christmas beverage, I decided to give it a try. At... our Christmas Eve Open House, there is alot of family with small children. since I was serving it in a 2 qt. crock pot, I did not want to have to strain it. I did use the cinnamon sticks, clover powder, and nutmeg powder, but subsituted lemon extract for the zest. It was wonderful! My son-in-law and I drank 1/3 of it before the guest arrived. As the crock-pot would empty, I was able to add more cider and spices to it. It worked out great and everyone enjoyed our new tradition. Next time I might try floating orange slices in it.Read more
