but the pizza itself was soggy. I would use the mushrooms on a steak and scrap the pizza thing.

Great, easy recipe. Generous portions for 4 and easily cut in half for 2 or served as a side with pasta. We made it with swiss cheese, mozzerella and a combo of the 2. My family liked them all! Don't write the recipe off because you don't like the cheese. Use what you like and you'll love it.

My husband and I loved this pizza! I didn't have Swiss on hand, so I used a 6 cheese Italian blend instead..delicious! My only suggestion would be to really season up the mushrooms with plenty of salt, pepper and thyme. I thought they were well seasoned, but when I was eating the pizza, I kept thinking I should have flavored the mushrooms a bit more than the recipe called for. Other than that..these pizzas were incredibly filling, and tasty!

I made this when we had friends over for the UFC fight. Let's just say, it was gone in seconds. We all loved it!

Quick, delicious, and very filling. I pretty much halved the recipe since it was only for 2 and came out great!

During a s girl's week out at Big Cedar Resort we decided to cook in one night instead of eating out. With limited ingredients (we didn't have the worcestershire sauce or thyme and we used red wine instead of white we created a pizza better than any that could have been delivered. We used Baby Bellas instead of the larger caps. We also brushed the cut side of the French bread with a little olive oil and melted butter for toasting so the bread wouldn't get soggy when filled. The Gruyere was perfect but smoked Gouda or mozzarella also works well.
