    They were OK, but nothing to write home about. I did really love the black beans, so I'm keeping the recipe just for those.

    I made this recipe for the black beans and they were a hit with my family! I have to make them all the time now when we have mexican food! I did leave the Jalepeno out due to having toddlers, but they were still so good!!!! I added chopped Roma tomato instead!

    The marinade is fantastic! I loved the poblano peppers, I usually use green bell peppers. The black beans were also great!

    these three recipes make a great week night supper. I used left-over grilled rib-eye steak that had been similarly marinated. Didn't have any Spanish rice mix on hand, so made my own using a quick & easy recipe from Joy of Cooking. My husband especially liked the beans.

    I had some friends over for a mexican faire-and this recipe was among many of the choices I had available for them. It was a smashing success as well were the Rachel Ray Mojitos. Thank you
