    We really didn't care for this dish with the fajitas, beans and rice. There seemed to be something missing, plus as mentioned the meat needs time to marinade. Quite often I find I need to doctor Rachel's recipes. Her ideas are good, but if you are a seasoned cook you find her recipes are in dire need of altering.

    I marinated the chicken all day and we didn't think it had enough heat at first, but it did build up and we decided we liked it. I'd use the marinade as a baste if I cooked it outside (we have a small George Foreman grill. The black beans were great and we had a very enjoyable meal in under 30 minutes.
