tried to write a long opinion, but it wasn't accepted. Well this recipe wasn't so good, I would ommit the kale or atleast destem it and add extra vinegar. This just wasn't sour enough for the kielbasa.
the pierogis would have been better with plain sour cream.

I made this the day after watching Rachel prepare it on TV. It was (hopefully as good as it looked. Better than my mother's recipe that never included kale or pot stickers.
    YUM-O-YUM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

My husband saw this episode, bought everything he needed and cooked it the next day. If you love saurkrat and sausage, you should try this. It's his "specialty" now, and it was a big hit when he made it for my folks.

A bunch of my husband's family got together this year around New Years at our house, and he wanted me to make them homemade pierogies...
I love pierogies and keilbasa but have always hated that it's such a meat and potatoes kind of meal. This recipe is the perfect addition to round out the plate, and the sauerkraut taste is the perfect compliment to the sausage!
Also was our first experiment with kale. 9 out of 10 people ate it and liked it... some said they liked it better than spinach!

i made this one night when several membes of my congregation came over for dinner - what was supposed to feed four wound up feeding 7 with leftovers and we fought over the last pierogi -- my partner who did not think she would like it asks me to make it at least once every 2 weeks now -- and our guests liked it so much we had to put the recipe (with a weblink of course in the church newsletter
