I loved how easy it was to make this soup I think I had everything cut and cooked in a half an hour. It was so easy. I love eating the vietnamese soup Pho and this reminds me of that. For my son's soup I gave him the basic soup and for mine I added some chili sauce and hoison sauce (oyster suace. It was delicious. I love how easy it is to make and I will make this soup often.
For those of you who are single or only cooking for 2 try putting individual servings in freezer zip lock bags and freeze. This way the soup never goes bad if you don't eat all of it in one sitting and you also have an individual serving of soup that all you have to do is throw in the microwave when you are ready to eat.

delicious! i added about 1 cup of coconut milk and some canned water chestnuts, and some more chicken broth. i would do a little less noodles/chicken so there's not quite so much stuff in it, but it was very yummy anyway.

nothing really special with this soup. It was just like any other soup Rachel has. I used the dumpling recipe for this dish instead of chicken, and I used ground beef for it. The dumpling also taste okay. Taste good but nothing special. But overall I still like it that's why I give 4 stars.

In Florida we don't get many cold days, but when we did, I made this recipe for the entire family. Everyone loved it. Definitely a keeper.

The recipe was easy and yummy. The hardest part was trying to find a store that sold poblano peppers. Advice- don't squeeze the entire lime. Squeeze a little and then taste. Everyone loved it. It's very healthy also.

my roommate and i are religious rachel ray watchers and this soup caught my eye so we decided to make it. it fit our poor college student budget nicely and seemed easy enough to make. i was SO impressed with how NON labor intensive it was for how AMAZING the taste was. added some red pepper flakes for a kick.
im never eating normal chicken soup again.

We really enjoyed this soup! It actually only took about 45 minutes to make! We will probably have it again!

I have cooked oodles of Rachel's recipes and this has been the worst. The flavors stood alone nicely, but did not really delightful end product. The noodles stuck together like a bad click, and did not add much to the dish. The dish could have used much more heat, I would suggest adding some red pepper flakes. We will not be making this dish again.

This is the best chicken soup I have ever tated in my life, and that's coming from someone who did not like anyone's chicken soup, not even my own. My 8 yr old grandson can't get enough of it. He's always asking me to make it, and I do it with pride and pleasure.

This is a great recipe and can be versitle too. I've tried it w/ chicken, shrimp, and crab, used a variety of peppers, as well as w/ or w/o coconut milk added. It is great regardless.
