I saw Rachel making these and immediately wanted to try them. I followed the instructions to the letter. But the batter didn't stick to the apples and they were very greasy. So greasy they went into the trash. Oh well...c'la vie! On to another recipe!

Very easy to make -- suggest making only half a batch for 3 or less people -- came out a bit greasy -- but very teasty

These were very easy to make and tasted very good, especially when still warm. I suggest just making enough to eat immediately (which is less than I thought because they are a greasy treat. I made the full recipe so there was a platter of leftovers. The next morning the fritters were very mushy. I toasted them in the toaster oven to reheat and crisp back up a bit. It helped but they were still tastier right after they were first made.

This was really easy to make, and tasted like a homemade apple donut. You get a lot from even one apple.
