My family ate these pancakes up in minutes. I had to make more before the night was finished. Our tradition is to have pancakes on the night my husband is away for school. The kids raved so about this recipe so much, I made some for dessert for my husband. The recipe took a little longer than I thought it would, but it was definitely worth the work.

I am a personal chef for two families with a total of 8 kids, so I am always looking for something the kids will eat. All the kids absolutely loved these, as did the parents. Even two of the kids who "never eat pancakes" loved them. I made them with 1/2 white whole wheat flour to up the fiber and nutrition just a bit and sometimes throw in a bit of toasted wheat germ (which masquerades as nuts. Even my husband, who is not a pancake lover, liked these.

The batter for these pancakes was easy to mix together, but cooking them was difficult. The taste was good, but it seemed they would get burned on the outside before cooking completely on the inside.

These taste like banana bread to me, but they are the best pancakes I have ever made. I used reduced fat sour cream, 1% milk and egg beaters to cut back on some of the fat and calories. Would definately make these again.

These were delicious!!! And a huge hit with my kids!! I used almonds instead of walnuts, and I omitted the raisins. I will definitely be making these again and again!!! Thank you Rachael!! My 9 year old daughter absolutely LOVES watching your shows!!!

I loved these as a change to your ordinary pancake. I left out the bananas and they were still great! Very filling.
