I didn't have bananas, raisens or nuts in my pantry but gave the recipe a try anyway. I added a little more sour cream than the recipe called for to make up for the lack of moisture that the bananas would usually contribute. Consistancy and texture turned out fine. Of course, adding the fruit and nuts would make this recipe great vs nice (needs that raisen sweetness and I will make sure to have them in my cupboard next time.

My two grown sons still beg me to make these pancakes for them every time they visit. Not a simple preparation but well worth the effort. It is definitely a family favorite!

This was just okay, tastes more like banana bread than oatmeal cookies.

These were pretty good. I thought they could've been better, but they were all right. It could've just been me even though I like most things i try, but I don't think so. Everyone else with me liked them, so it was kind of wierd that I didn't. Hmmm...

This was delicious! I made this for a brunch and these pancakes were wonderful - I added chocolate chips instead of raisins.

These were great! I did find that I needed to make them small, about 4 inch pancakes. Otherwise they wouldn't cook all the way through before burning. Abosulutely fantastic.

My kids absolutely LOVED this recipe! They were getting tired of plain old pancakes, so we tried making this TOGETHER. Their only comment was that it had a little too much banana taste - and we left out the walnuts and replaced them with mini chocolate chips for a great taste!
