I totally revised the recipe to cut down alot of the fat and heaviness. This is my version: 1 cup pancake mix, 1 cup oats, 1/3 cup brown sugar, tsp cinnamon, 3/4 cup milk, 1 egg, tsp vanilla extract, 3/4 cup raisins, and I doubled the walnuts b/c i think they're the best part. These pancakes don't even need syrup! they're so great but the batter is pretty dense but the pancakes come out thick and fluffy. Definitely a keeper!

My husband and I both really enjoyed this recipe. The batter is quick and easy to make. They take a little longer than regular pancakes to cook.

These were amazing. My kids don't like raisins, so I substituted w/a 1/2 cup milk choco. chips. Alot more satisfying than a regular pancake. Thanks Rachael :

These pancakes were amazing! They were so moist and tasty.....and perfectly sweetened, I did not even use syrup. The leftovers (very few I froze and popped in the toaster for a quick morning meal....This recipe will have a permanent place in my recipe box. Thanks Rachael!

These pancakes are awesome & easy to make! If you want them to taste more like an oatmeal cookie, omit the bananas. They taste great with a little bit of butter & honey on top for sweetness.

Ok, so I really wanted to try this after watching Rachel make it. SO, I go to my fridge and realize I had neither sour cream nor bananas. (>.< However I used cream cheese (warmed with about a tablespoon of milk to make it the same consistency as sour cream and I used chopped up apples instead of bananas, and almonds instead of walnuts... It turned out GREAT!.... oh and in the end I realized I added no butter or oil to it(oops...and it still turned out fabulous, so if you are on a low-fat diet, have no fear! (you should add a smidge more milk though to make up for the lack of oil, I noticed my batter was a little dry so I added a little milk and it was fine :

I loved this recipe. I did substitute a bit thoughto amp up the nutrtion. I substituted skim milk for both the sour cream and whle milk, and instead of regular flour, I used unprossed whole grain flour. I also left out the butter....it came out more than delicious and my family loved it, which is a real bonus.
