I made the stuffing and cranberry sauce from this recipe. I multiplied the recipe by 4 in all areas except I used 14 slices of bread instead of 8 and only 2 lbs of sausage instead of 4. I also sauteed the onions and celery before adding to the sausage so it was soft. It was delicious! Everyone loved it! The cran/apple sauce was also very yummy.

This recipe is both delicious and versatile. I've made it as an open faced sandwich and also have served it as a dinner by using the components as individual servings and adding a vegetable side dish. My kids loved it and my husband who is not a sausage fan even liked the stuffing. I did reduce the amount of poultry seasoning by half the second time I made it. I doubled the toast in the stuffing when I served it as a turkey dinner. Easy, fast and incredibly delicious.

I loves this recipe. It was easy to make, although difficult to find good turkey to make it with, short of cooking an entire turkey : Great on a cold FOGGY san francisco afternoon.

It was pretty good, but the stuffing was a little sickening after too much of it. My gravy didn't really turn out, but the mashed potatoes were delish.
