What a way to have a mini Thanksgiving without all the work. Easy "on top of the stove" recipe.

some people, like me, don't eat red meat. meaning steak, hamburgers, bacon, sausage, and other pig, cow, or sheep/lamb meat is a no go. so i took the bacon out of the smashed potatoes and presto! the meal was perfect!

Everyone that I have ever made this for loved it. It's taken me a little more time than the recipe suggests, but it is worth it in the long run. Comforting, warm, and just wonderful.

i havent tried this recipie yet, but i made the cranberry apple sauce for thanksgiving. my family hates cranberry sauce but i usually put it our for company and i usually toss most of it out. this one, i had to make more before the end of the night!! it made almost a dip for the turkey, went great on the potatoes and even got mixed into the stuffing! my daughter ate it the next morning on waffles, the other put it on top of ice cream, and my husband used it last week on a pork roast. i have to say, it is a delisious addition to any meal!!!!!!

I only used the recipe for the smashed potatoes, and it was a TOTAL HIT with my family!!! I made this for our THanksgiving meal, and even my brother's girlfriend (who is a VERY picky eater adored the smashed potatoes!! I used two tablespoons of sage butter leftover from my turkey, and I also added maybe eight strips of bacon to the potatoes -- maybe that's why it was so good!

i really liked the turkey and gravy, i think i used too much sausage and not enough bread for the stuffing. other than that it was pretty good!

I am continue to be surprised and delighted at how much flavor these 30 minute meals have...often tasting like you've spent all day in the kitchen. Was pleased at the flavor the whole grain bread and maple sausage provided...a much heartier tasting stuffing. Also think the smoked turkey breast from an Amish market helped "make" the meal. My husband noted that he loved the meal but it was not a 30 minute clean up!
