I am not a big squash fan, but I was really hoping it was a childhood aversion. I made this soup and discovered that I still don't like squash - particularly made this way. My husband and daughter both agreed with me. Perhaps it was the frozen squash... but this just wasn't one we'd try again.

Yummy! This was another great recipe from Rachael!! I made this with Thanksgiving dinner, and everyone loved it so much that there was none left over!! The only difference I did was I used vegatarian vegatable broth instead of the chicken because I have family members that are vegatarians and it was still so good. Very simple and quick to make. Definately on the menu again!! Thanks Rachael!!

I tried this soup for Thanksgiving. It sounded better than it tasted. ...was OK, but not great. I won't make it again.

Well, I must have done something wrong because this tasted super bland. The only thing that I can think that might've gone wrong is that I used frozen butternut squash, not the puree. Maybe the puree had extra ingredients? I was very disappointed in how this turned out. I added bacon at the end to give some extra flavor which made it edible, but I definitely won't make again.

I think it's more personal preference than anything, but this is not one of my favorite Rachel Ray's.

I made this for Thanksgiving and the crowd raved over it. Only thing I added was a touch of ginger and let it sit over night to let the flavor mingle.

    Awesome!

I can't believe how easy this soup was to make and how creamy it tasted. You could swear there was cream in it. I wish I could get the nutritional break down I would bet that it is a pretty healthy addition to a weight loss program.
