Very easy recipe to follow however I had to extend the cooking time an extra 10 minutes to get the desired appearance and taste that I wanted. Everybody loved them!

Easy, simple and delicious! Made them in the electric skillet instead of in the oven. Had a great crust, seasoning was perfect and they went great with my breakfast burrito, southwest-style breakfast!

I melted butter in a large skillet ... then added olive oil ... then used russet potatos with a large yellow onion, red and green pepper, oregano ... some A1 sauce ... salt & pepper ... then some emmeril seasoning and celery seeds. Mixed it up so it was all oiled up ... into the oven at 425 for over 30 min with 1 stir in between.

    YUM!

I made this recipe last night, and we loved it. I left out the peppers and instead added more onion (just our preference. I did back the temp off to 475 degrees because I believe our oven cooks hot. Be sure to leave the onions in pretty good sized chunks so that they carmelize but don't burn. the potatoes turned out with a nice crisp outside and a yumalicious fluffy inside. We will definitely be making this one again! My boyfriend used the leftovers the next morning to make potato and egg burritos, and raved about them as well!

I made these potatoes for a Mother's Day brunch. They were an instant hit. They were very easy to make, and tasted delicious.

I cooked the potatoes for the first 15 minutes in a 400 degree oven, then turned the oven up to 500 the last 10 minutes to get a nice golden brown texture.

The steak seasoning provided just the right taste. There was no need to add any salt or pepper.
