Rachel.... one word for these homefries: FABO! Fabo is even better than YUM-MO! So insanely easy, and incredibly good. I didn't have the steak seasoning, so I did a combo of mesquite and chicken from the same brand, and they came out amazing. I would have never thought to use the grill seasoning... but that's why they pay you the big bucks. Ingenious!!!!

Mine came out great besides the fact that they where a little to hard in the missdle, but otherwise they where great with the onion and the bell pepper...yum!

    Rachel,

Just had this dish last night and it really goes well with barbequed chorizo. If anyone likes homefries without the hassel this dish is for you. Sincerely,

SOOOOO tasty and so satisfying.... I loaded them with tons of grill seasoning it was so delicious! Tender onions and peppers, crunchy homemade fries, a whole lot less guilt than the fast foo fries I'm always craving.... what's not to like? Sometimes I make these in the morning, sometimes late night- really anytime im craving something satisfying and hearty. And OH MY GOSH IS IT EASY!!!! I put an Idaho potato in the microwave for like 2 1/2 minutes, than when it comes out cut it up and do the rest of the recipe. If you do it like this- I mean baking the potato in the microwave first- It only takes like 10 minutes. Oh, it's really easy to make for only one or two people because measurements are pretty much useless in this dish.... just add as much or as little of anything as you like. I hope you enjoy it as much as I did!!!!

Give it 4 stars because it's simple and easy to make. Flavor is not a lot or strong, but on the other hand you can taste the freshness of potatoes. I will definitely make it again!

These are the best oven fries I've had. I added garlic salt & used 2 red bell peppers instead of one green bell (I like the sweeter flavor. The next time I make the fries I will cut the onion & pepper in larger chunks since they shrink so much while baking. The dark non-stick baking pan ensures that the potatoes brown-up nicely. I'm going to use the leftovers to make a layered breakfast casserole with scrambled eggs, green chile, sausage & cheese, substituting the oven fries for the frozen hash browns used in the recipe. I know it will be scrumptious. Bon appetit!
