Simple to make, however the breadcrumb amount appears to be way off. After making the mix as directed, brushing top of fish with oil, and dipping into mix I ended up throwing out an entired cup of unused and contaminated bread crumbs. That also meant less garlic/parsley actually got onto the fish. I will make it again in the future, but try using 1 cup of panko breadcrumbs instead.

Was pretty good - my 4 yr old liked it. Cooked it a bit longer (about 5 min. than stated. Used Panko bread crumbs and it came out really nice.

cod is not a good fish for this recipe. Fish came out too dry.

Great recipe and very easy to make. I followed recommendations to use panko bread crumbs and also added Cavender's all purpose Greek seasoning to perk up the flavor. Did not add oil to bread crumbs but did lightly spray the top of breaded fish with cooking spray before putting in oven.

Disregard the bad reviews! This was so easy and delicious! The perfect meal for a week night because it was easy and healthy. Based on the previous recommendations I used panko bread crumbs and added some olive oil to the mix before I put it on the fish. I will serve this again!

This is an excellent fish recipe, easy to make, and requires limited ingredients which I usually have on hand. I've made this at least 3-4 times and both my husband and I have enjoyed the taste every time. This is a keeper for me.

I didn't read any of the comments before I made this dish. I DID use panko bread crumbs as that's all that I had and I will use them again when I make this again. I seasoned the cod with salt and pepper first, then rubbed on the olive oil. I crumbed both sides of the fish and patted the crumbs down a bit to help them to stick. I sprayed the pan with Pam also. Halfway through baking I flipped the cod so that both sides would crisp. I agree with the comment that perhaps a bit of paprika (smoked paprika? would add just a bit more flavor. But all in all, this was a yummy recipe that I plan to make again. Thank you Rachael!

I just made this dish tonight for my husband and I. I found that the bread crumbs didn't crisp well enough--instead, some of it started to get soggy on the bottom of the fish after taking out of the oven. Like a previous comment said, it's not a very complex cod recipe, so you can't expect it to be knock-your-socks-off good. But it was alright...light and delicate. I added lemon juice on top before serving. Will try to tweak with Panco next time and try to be more liberal with the EVOO.
