There is a wonderful flavor between the sweet pear, salty onions and cheese, savory sage. Every body loved it. Will make again. Some did not like pears and were very surprised to find out how much they liked it not knowing that it was in there.

this is great for kids, vegetarians, using pears when they are in season, using fruit in a savory way. I really like the flavors and ease of this dish.

I love all the ingredients in this panini, so it's no wonder I thought it was delicious. Great flavor combinations. Highly recommended.

My husband and I eat this at least twice a month. It's so quick and satisfying. I don't even make the onions anymore...just pear, fontina and sage. It's a great sandwich especially in the summer.

Made this last night with my husband and a friend. We loved it! Our guest ate two and still wanted more! And my husband, who is a meat man, ate his share! Thanks for the recipe. We love your show.

This was very easy to make and was a great blend of flavors. We tried this out on our new panini grill and can't wait to use it again and again! Just make sure you use good quality fontina and fresh herbs.

The taste and presentation are very impressive for such an easy recipie. It's a "tricked out" grilled cheese.

This was really yummy! Excellent tip on the show about slicing every ingerdient thin - makes it so crispy and delicious when grilled. I made this for dinner on Monday; made it for lunch again Tuesday and Wednesday.
