this was yummy! the family loved it. i just put the egg on the chicken and left the anchovies off and the roasted red peppers. it was yummy just with the egg on top. you can put sliced tomatoes and other veggies along with the egg also. love your recipes Rachel!

Home run. Wasn't sure that the chicken would cook through, but it wasn't a problem at all. Paired it with some fresh oranges and a cranberry wine sauce and knocked my wife right off of her diet...she ate three!

this recipe is right on. my only wish would be to have a sauce. a grainy mustard sauce would be yum-o! i have been making this recipe since around the time it aired. my husband and i just love it. even if you dont do the eggs or peppers the meat can be paired with anything. try it!

The combination of flavors in this recipe were superb. I made this months ago, and my boyfriend keeps asking me when I am going to make it again. Elizabeth the "ANGRY GERMAN" obviously is either not a foodie, didn't really make the recipe, or else does not know how to cook, because this tasted far from terrible. I am making it again tonight. I think Rachael Ray is very impressive for not being a trained chef, she makes some of the best recipes. Have an open mind and try this recipe without the fried eggs, if you must.

I have been eating schnitzel since I was a little kid...prepared by my German grandmother and my German mother. I have been preparing this recipe for several years now and it is a party pleaser. My American side of the family is huge and my schnitzel is a requested recipe for almost all occassions. I also have always eaten the fried egg on top since my many years of living in Frankfurt. The only thing different in my recipe (handed down from generations is the paprika. I look forward to trying this recipe with the paprika to see if it is better than mine.

I make this recipe all the time. I use chicken tenders and leave out the pepper and fried egg. I have the pickiest eaters ever and even my 4 year old requests this often. I serve it with roasted rosemary potatoes. Thank you Rachel!!!

I made just the chicken cutlets and the family enjoyed them. I used Panko bread crumbs mixed with seasoned bread crumbs for the extra crunch factor for part of the batch

Since I can not eat wheat products, Ifor the second batch, I crushed up Millet Rice cereal and added dry mindec onion, italian herbs, and paprika and used that for my crunchy coating. Turned out fabulous.

I plan on making this again tonight, but will make it by the recipe, which will include the egg and peppers.
