I think this recipe is very easy to make and very filling. It is a bit dry like the other posters have said. I forgot to buy the right kind of pasta so I ended up using spagetti in which I broke into 3 1/2 in pieces and just did the recipe as usual. My kids 8,6,3 all ate it. They said it was different but it was pretty good once they got use to it. I think the "use to it" taste is the cheese. I was not use to that cheese either as we dont normally eat it or cook with it. So all in all, try it. Its filling and you have leftovers. Not sure how to cure the bit of dryness though.

I practically made the meal while watching Rachael prepare it on tv! I even subituted whole grain penne pasta, used soy organic milk, turkey bacon and already grated kraft parmesean cheese. The dish is wonderful. It is now in the rotation!

Great recipe. I used half of the celery since I am not a celery person.

I TRIED THIS DISH LAST NIGHT, ALSO USING BACON. THE FLAVOR WAS VERY GOOD. MY HUSBAND ASKED ME TO MAKE IT AGAIN. THE ONLY PROBLEM I HAD WAS THAT IT WAS VERY DRY WHEN I SERVED IT. I'M NOT SURE WHY? I FOLLOWED THE RECIPE EXACTLY. I WOULD LIKE TO MAKE IT AGAIN, BUT ONLY IF I CAN MAKE IT LESS DRY.

This recipe is a nice change from the traditional dish. I substituted chicken broth for the wine. I also made extra cheese sauce. My husband liked it so much he asked for seconds. This recipe is definately a keeper.
