We prepare this recipe often. We add craisins, sugared pecans, crumbled Danish bleu cheese, golden raisins, celery, green onions, and Granny Smith apple to give it even more ingredients. It is a great salad and better than the pecan chicken that I have ordered in restaurants. The dressing is also flavorful and my children love it, although they are persnickety about their salad dressings.

Very yummy! I substituted Enova oil and that worked just fine. I've never deep fried anything before so I underestimated how much oil I would need & ran out - oops! I was only able to fry one batch of six tenders in far less than an inch of oil, so I had to cook them a few extra minutes & flip them over half way through. My husband was super impressed & loved the presentation!

One of the girls at work made this recipe at home then brought the leftovers in to work for us to taste. I usually don't care for nuts in my main dishes, but this is definately a reason to change my mind. The sauce is really good.

I make this often during the warmer months. Tastes as good as any restaurant salad. I sometimes vary the dressing - they are all delicious on this salad.

I made the chicken and just a small amount of dressing on the side. I could have used twice as much chicken with the amount of breading mixture. Not a huge fan of the dressing. Here's how I made my salad the next day: chicken, craisens, mandarin oranges, extra pecans, bleu cheese and a balsamic vinegarette. This was excellent! Give it a try! (I got the idea from a salad that I had at a restaraunt once.

very good. i have adapted the recipe a little, too, to just grill the chicken and sprinkle pecans and the syrup over it. both are delicious!

Made this recipe a few times as is which is great. I've also just made the pecan chicken tenders alone in place of my original chicken tender recipe and the kids eat them up. My husband likes me to make the dressing on the side so he can dip. Thanks Rachel

I have the 30 Minute Meals cookbook in which this recipe appears, however, I had never tried it. All I can say is I wish I had tried it sooner! Even my 13 year old son loved it.
