Excellent and so easy to prepare. I didn't have sherry so I used marsala wine, delicious. I had also prepared in the morning for evening dinner so it did get to sit and absorb all of the flavor. My only change would to use a little less flour, it was actually too thick.

This was an excellent meal! My family raved about it. We had some leftovers and I think it may have been even better the next day. I will definitely make this again!

Very good, easy to prepare and done in 30 minutes or less. I didn't have sherry so I used dry white wine instead. I also added broccoli and served it with rice with onions. My husband loved it. Thanks RR.

Delicious! Made it gluten free with corn starch, added to beef broth.

I think once I added my own ingredients it became a 5. It was absolutely delicious.. Didnt have sherry so I mixed a little whiskey with some reisling and I think it worked out very well. I only cooked my steak for 3-4 minutes on each side and I kept my stove at medium high heat instead of high heat. I will definitely add this to my weekly menu.

This is my favorite RR recipe. I think I have made it at least 30 times. I just make the pepper steak with regular white rice. I eyeball everything and it turns out great everytime. I do prefer to make the steak and the peppers in thin slices rather than chunks.

This is a really great recipe. I added 3 cloves of garlic, and 1TBSP of soy sauce due to all of the other reviewers comments. It had awesome falvor!! The only thing was that my sauce didn't thicken up as well as I would have liked therefore, I added 1 tsp of corn starch. My only complaint is that this was not a 30 minute meal, it took me over a hour with prep... but it was well worth it :

Was looking for a pepper steak recipe that was close to my mother's. This came close but I adapted it for my older taste buds.
I substituted bonelss/skinless chicken breasts and cut into strips and coated with a little flour and garlic powder and then browned in olive oil. Along with the onions and peppers I added some chopped fennel (or anise depending on what you call it as well as sliced baby bellas, grated ginger and grated garlic. Instead of tomato paste I added some reduced calorie maple syrup, something I did remember my mom using. Added some soy and worcestershire sauces too. Even tho it doesn't seem to resemble Rachael's recipe, it was SO DELICIOUS! Served it over orzo with sauted white mushrooms. It got rave reviews and I will continue to make it.

I made this without the Rice and just added mushrooms to the veggies. It was great. Quick, cheap, and quite tasty. Add a little garlic powder for even more flavor!
