    i made a mistake and bought TOP SIRLOIN instead of SIRLOIN TIP, but what this dish basically tastes like is curry... like the asian style curry because ive never tried the indian style curry. anyway, it was okay and i ate most of it, but i would not make this again. i dont know why so many people gave it five stars. it wasnt even that flavorful.

    I have 2 suggestions. One, use tenderloin tips. Two, don't use a nonstick pan. The sauce was delicious because of it. Definitely a keeper.

    This was a really good and simple recipe to make. I thought that the meat was a bit tough the first time that I made it but fixed that by taking the extra time to cut it into smaller pieces. The bell peppers were not too overpowering and the sauce was great. It goes really well with the rice pilaf.

    This is me and my families all time favorite. I make it often! Leftovers are as good too (if we have any leftovers! The rice is a perfect pair for the pepper steak!
