Raisins (I prefer golden and slivered almonds are needed. I also usually have diced tomatos and cut the sauce so it is chunkier. Serve with tostones and you have the real deal.

it was so good the olives give the food a really good balance. plus it is also good with red peppers. This recipe is good for when you don't have alot in the pantry and i's good time saver.

I first tried this with my stepmom (back in the years in PR, it was actually her first prepared meal for us as a family of 4. I was surprised because she usually didn't cook! Really good!

I used ground turkey, and it was bland! It needs more seasoning or something.

Maybe the recipe was tasteless because I used ground turkey instead of beef-but I doubt it. After reading all of the positive reviews I was very excided to try this one, however it just missed the mark in my book. Will not be keeping this one in my book. Sorry.

I really liked this dish. I added a little bit of red wine vinegar (just a dash to the onions/peppers. It turned out great! I'm sure it is just as good w/ or w/out the vinegar.

This dish was fast and easy to make and delicious. It's so versatile. You can spice it up. I kept it on the low end and even my 18-month-old son loved it, a true family dish.
