I'm so glad that she came up with this recipe. I've been using Sandra Lee's recipe for canned pineapples and I sprained my wrist using the can opener. Thank you Rachel, my wrist has healed thanks to you!

(Please hurry with response. I'm kind of depressed about this and I don't know what I'll do...

I can't cut the pineapple with a knife (they've been confiscated from me and now I have a pair of scissors stuck in a pineapple. Help!

Holy Shnikies can I make this recipe with just half a pineapple? If I am starting with 1/2 of the pineapple, do I then need to cut into 1/4-inch wedges instead of 1/2-inch wedges? That seems logical, but I'm concerned that my fat friends may have a hard time gripping such a small wedge. Their fingers are pudgy like little sausages.

I've come up with an exciting new twist:

1 Go to a grocery store.
    2 Buy a sliced pineapple.

This saves me a little time that I use to prepare for the next Sandra Lee episode.

Found a link to this from Rachel's late night bacon recipe, which is equally complex but worth the extreme effort.

Wow.... Came across this when looking for a recipe for Banana! Hopefully, she has a simple recipe for an Orange.

Couldn't find a "pine apple" at my supermarket, so I bought a regular apple, but I got confused because it didn't have a "green top," ended up getting frustrated and turning it into applesauce with a meat mallet. Was I supposed to wait for the apple to sprout? Please advise.

This entree will pair nicely with Late Night Bacon.

Delightful! Made a simple adjustment: I substituted foie gras for the pineapple, and made an aoili out of my children's tears.
