Made this with only a couple of changes-- I used mild Italian sausage instead of pepperoni and increased ricotta to 1#. (I'm lucky, too; I have a super Italian market nearby where I can alter the flavor of sausage any time-they have 8 different flavors of fresh sausage every day! It took me over 30 mins. but it is just great. If I am going to be short on time, I saute sausage and pepper, onion etc. the day before.

I made this one evening for my folks, and even my dad, a notoriously picky eater, had two helpings!
Great recipe!

Thought it was good but ended up adding more sauce and ricotta cheese to make it the way we liked.

My husband and I do not have time to cook, and after making this meal, it is one of those you can make family size and keep the leftovers. The leftovers actually absorb more flavor while it marinates. So, we love it! Add meat... makes it soooooo good.

I made this dish for a dinner party and everyone enjoyed it. In addition to the pepperoni I used three sweet Italian sausages and that added another level of flavor to the dish. I browned it before I started the veggies and added it in with the pepperoni/ cheeses mixture.
Definitely a good entertaining meal!

This was a great recipe. My husband and I made it together, and it's usually a nightmare to get my husband into the kitchen. It was so easy to make and tasted delicious! And the base tomato sauce that goes into it would make a GREAT spaghetti sauce and is tastier and much cheaper than buying jarred sauce! I highly recommend this recipe! Thank you, Rachel Ray!

I enjoyed the pizzagna. I did make a few alterations. I added the sliced pepperoni, lean ground round, and italian sausage. In addition to the fresh parsley, I added some fresh basil. My husband is a meat lover so I add to add so extra meat. I am supreme lady...My family loved it and my husband says that's a do over recipe. Great idea "Rach"
