I couldn't even get my 9-year old daughter to eat more than a spoonful. The canned tomatoes (even the Italian style--and doctored didn't do it justice. It tasted canned not fresh. If it had time to simmer (longer than a "30-min meal"it might have had better flavor. I even added chicken and it didn't give it any more flavor. Next time (if there is one I'll use a better sauce.I'll also add more pepperoni--could barely taste it.

What a great idea! I made with rotini because I couldn't find the other type of pasta. I did find 1lb. of the rotini was too much. I would cut it next time to 2/3 of the box. Used basil instead of parsley and added sausage. The crushed tomatoes gave it such a fresh taste. It was great. The recipe called for only 1 cup of ricotta, but when I looked at the show again, Rachel said to put in 1 1/2 cups. I agree with more, especially if using rotini. I only used about 6 ounces of mozzerella which seemed plenty! A wonderful dish to freeze for future.

My family loved this recipe. I made just a few changes. I didn't have any pepperoni, so browned and drained some ground sirloin and added it to the sauce. Since I had lasagne noodles, I used those and layered them with the sauce, grated mozzerella, and ricotta to which I added a beaten egg. Instead of broiling it, I baked it in the oven till hot and bubbly. Served with a nice green salad and some garlic bread, this pizzagna was a huge hit. More lasagna than pizza, but delicious.

My family loved this recipe, peppers and all! They didn't even know they were in the dish, because if they did, I would have heard about it. I chopped them up extra fine, they never saw them and they loved the dish. It was very easy to make.

I enjoyed this recipe a lot. It was easy, fast and delicious. I used cottage cheese (what I had in the fridgeinstead of ricotta and worked well. I did sprinkle extra parmesan cheese after I served it to give it an extra kick.

Today is the 4th of July and my family said they thought this recipe sounded good. My daughter's boyfriend does hard physical labor and I knew that this would be the kind of meal he could fill up on. I bought the ingredients and then because of the heat fell asleep on the couch. My family woke me up at 6 pm complaining of hunger and at 6:30 it was ready to eat. Everyone loved it. This was easier to make than both lasgna or pizza.

This receipe is a nice change to all the same pasta and pizza meals that we always go to. Its very tasty, but most of all, like most of Rach's receipes, its cheap to make and quick too. This receipe has SOOO many possibilities with different ingredients. A real family pleaser.
