One of the best dishes I've ever made for my guests!

Although I have yet to try this recipe, just reading through the directions, I think that time must be allotted to reduce the sauce. Having and cup of wine and two cups of stock with a six minute reduction time does not allow for a very thick or tasty sauce. I will add the stock and wine, cook the chops for ? minutes and then remove them, tent them to keep them warm and then reduce the sauce down by half. I'm going to try that tonight. I will report my results.

Made it just as the recipe says. I did take the lid off the sauce pan after I added the pork chops back into the pan, so the sauce would thicken up. Not hard and tasted great.

A new favorite! Made it exactly like the recipe except used boneless pork loin steaks 1 1/2 inch thick. Spicy to me but not too much. My hubby of Italian heritage likes spicier sauce so added some tabasco to his. Easy way to do pork loin steaks--moist and flavorful and healthy! Lots of sauce left over to use over pasta or rice.

I just happened to catch this episode yesterday morning and was planning pork chops for dinner anyway. I had 8 thick, boneless loin chops and left out the fennel per DD's request, but otherwise followed the recipe exactly. The chops were tender and the sauce was delicious. I did have lots more sauce than Rachael seemed to, but it was great served over the mashed potatoes I served along side. Do make sure to use the full amount of crushed red pepper! It doesn't turn out too spicy at all!
