This is one of the best dishes I've ever made. The bacon & beer gravy was excellent. Rich and savory! WOO! I had help from someone in the liquor department with the beer. They gave me a dark, German beer and it reduced perfectly. I served the gravy over the red potato/parsley/paprika recipe. It was fantastic. I will absolutely make this again.

I know I didn't do anything wrong. I followed the recipe to a T. Maybe the secret is in the beer? I used Bass Pale Ale because that's all I had but I really can't imaging me loving the flavor with a different beer. This one's a YUCKO for me and not a YUMMO!

This was the worst gravy I've ever tasted. i cooked it directly from the show and now that I'm reading the recipe fromt he site its exactly the same. All the reviews say they LOVE the gravy. Did I do something wrong? The beer taste was horrible. I ended up eating the chops plain with the pickled apples and onions from the show. Now that was yummo!

I love the exciting and mouth watering combination of all the ingredients.
Wow! Amazing. I will never prepare my pork chops any other way.

This was one of the best pork recipes I have had in a long time. It's great with the beer. We used Samuel Adams and it was outta this world. Another home run by Rachael Ray!!!

I made these for dinner tonight and was very pleased! I made these last minute and did not have any beer, but if you do have some whiskey on hand, it makes a great substitute. I put in a few shots of whiskey and added almost a full cup of stock instead of the 1/2 cup suggested. I was a little worried about making the gravy, but it turned out excellent. I will be making these again, they are a true crowd pleaser!

Since this is a place to actually REVIEW a recipe and not critize the cook, I'm going to say it was extremely tasty and I enjoyed the episode. Didn't seem to find time to put her nails under the microscope. It did take longer than 30 minutes but was well worth it! I used Chimay Blue in mine. mmm mmm. Can't wait to try out the potatoes! Great work Rachel!

Im sorry but I watched when Rachael made this and the only thing I could notice was how dirty her finger nails were. I would never eat anything she cooked. She's the only one I've ever seen on Food Network with nails like that! Ugh
