This recipe is absolutely DELICIOUS!! I made them last night for my husband and myself and we ate the entire plate! In fact, I only ate them... I had salisbury steak and veggies, but these were SOOOOOO GOOD, that I just ate these.... probably not too good. Anyway, I will definitely be making these again and next time, I may try and coat them with olive oil spray and broil them to save some calories....

I used my own Italian breadcrumbs (Dried Mix - Medley of
    Italian seasonings.
Panko also works (I season it with my dried mix of Italian
    seasonings. Definitely a keeper!
    Thank you.

Will make again. Best if eaten once fried; I re-heated, and they had softened a bit.

These portobello muchroom fries were awesome. Passed them around the neighborhood and even the non-muchroom folks liked them.

We absolutely loved these. They had a wonderful taste and texture. I substituted whole wheat bread crumbs to maker it South Beach friendly and added steak seasoning with the bread crumbs before frying. Thanks Rachael!

THIS WAS A GOOD SIDE DISH BUT I WOULDN'T REPLACE MY GOOD OLE FRENCH FRIES WITH IT. THEY WERE GREAT BUT THE TASTE OF THE MUSHROOM GOT OLD TO MY HUSBAND AND I BOTH. SO IT'S GOOD BUT I WOULDN'T RELY ON THIS TO BY MY ONLY SIDE DISH. I WOULD NEED MORE ANOTHER TASTEY SIDE.
