Instead of making the full sauce, I just got a jar of salsa verde and mixed in the avacado/honey mixture. It worked fantastic and was so much easier. The avacado mix definitely tones down the spice of the salsa which I liked. Very tasty dish and different.

I halved this recipe and used ground turkey instead of pork, and i loved it! My boyfriend had a different take he said it was too sour and didnt havev much flavor, but i felt the total opposite i would make it again! I guess its up to different tastes....if you dont mind tartness youll like this recipe for sure!

this is a very tasty lasagna. The lime really adds a great taste to this dish. It makes a lot. I halved everything except for the sauce. Also I used black beans in place of hominy and ground turkey in place of ground pork. I was also impressed with how healthy this meal could be. Instead of using a pound of cheese, just add what you think is enough.

I followed this recipe and found it bland. The only change I made was corn tortilla instead of flour. Each component tasted good alone but once I combined the lasagna it was dull. My son liked the meat and I liked the sauce. Think I will stick to other Rachael recipes.

Does anyone know what size casserole dish to use? I am planning on making this recipe and not sure if i have a dish big enough. I know RR used one of hers but not sure if it was the medium size or the large.

This recipe is not worth the effort. Since RR always adds way too much herbs, lime etc for my taste, I added the zest & juice of one lime and it was tart enough. Didn't like the green sauce. Will not make it again, eventhough I am a big fan of RR.

This is an excellent rendition of posole! I made it with a couple of changes:
1 I used shredded chicken instead of ground pork. I boiled boneless, skinless chicken thighs adding onions, celery, salt, pepper, and cumin to the water.
2 I added a drained can of black beans to the hominy/meat mixture.
The end product was absolutely delicious! I definitely will make this again!

I thought the recipe tasted good but the flavers were a bit bland - I spiced it up with a little more cumin even. It definately took longer than stated and was pretty labor intensive. Fun date recipe though -Was fun to make together.

Loved this recipe. Great new flavors & super easy & fast.

    I made some changes:

1 I used a jar of green salsa because (I counld not find green tomatillos in my area & it worked just fine.

2 I made individual servings & used the microwave to heat - it only took 3-5 minutes.

This recipe was delicious, but it took way longer to make than 30 minutes. Rachael calls for 10 minutes to put the whole thing together, which is a joke. Still, it's an easy meal, but just thought i should comment about the time factor.
