I made this for dinner last night for guests and everyone loved it. The only thing that I changed was the pork. I put in 1 lb of ground pork, and 1 lb of ground beef. I may have also added a little more cumin, ( I really didn't measure. I wouldn't change anything else, it had just the right amount of 'kick'. We will make this again!

This was so easy to make and I added rice and beans for side dishes. However, instead of grounded pork I used shredded pork. My family loved it!! Thanks Rachel!!

I saw this on tv and made it the same day. I made it even quicker by using green medium salsa from a jar. I used Nuevo Cocina Taco Meat Seasoning, chopped onions and jalapenos with the browned meat. I also used the Mexican cheese from a bag. I topped it according to the recipe, but added a little black bean and corn salsa to give it some color.
My son gave it two thumbs up and a definite make again. My husband ate two helpings.
I served it with an arugula, cucumber and tomato salad, with a homemade vinegarette dressing, which cooled off the mouth in between bites.
I will definitely make this again, and try it with ground turkey, corn tortilla's and a red tomato based salsa.
Good, quick Saturday night meal. Thanks Rach!

try the baca like previous review, and if you can't find flour tortillas w/out lard or butter, use corn tortillas. Greek yogurt for the sour cream.

This is an excellent recipe. Very flavorful and easy to make. Can be a bit spicy though, so be careful of the chilis you add.

    To Copycat,

Try Boca Burgers. Break them up and saute.

This is like the same thing as Robin Miller's Mexican Lasagna...
Haven't tried either, but both seem good if you eat meat and dairy...
I'm vegan, so both are out of the question for me...
    Vegan variations, anyone, anyone?
