I liked this, did not have chorizo so I used hot linguica (which is similar to chorizo and not as greasy. Also, to me 6 small potatoes was too much so I only used 4. Will definitely make again.

I am by no means a health nut (quite the opposite but this dish is just a complete grease-fest. The fat rendered from the chorizo plus the EVOO are what the potatoes and onions sop up during cooking. Tasty? Yes, but even that is overwhelmed by feeling like you need to mainline Clearsil and cholesterol drugs to survive eating the dish. The fish entree is excellent. Skip this greaser of a side. Serve the fish with couscous, rice, bread, whatever. Maybe worth trying the potato dish if one cuts WAY back on the chorizo and skips the EVOO. Or perhaps pre-render the chorizo in a separate pan? Regardless, this is a rare stinker from the lovely and talented Rachel Ray.

Some have said this can be a main dish, but I think it works best as a side dish. It's very easy to make and has good flavor. Be sure to get good sausage.

Good and easy. Some of it stuck to the pan though.

I have been doing this for years but with very small pieces of bacon. It comes out better than with chorizo. Also don's worry about putting the weight, it will work without the extra steps

I made this for my husband and myself last weekend. It was fantastic!! My husband has a very strict diet he has to stick to as far as fat goes so we weren't able to use chorizo..but I used an apple chicken sausage and it was fantastic!!! I just wanted to share that, bc it was sooo good that I made it again the next day and we had this with green beans for our meal!!!
