Is this really necessary? Do the members of Salmonella Ray's audience really need directions on how to do this? Apparently so. Really "Food (and I used the term loosely Network," go back to the progamming that made you what you are. Put real restaurant experienced and/or owning chefs back on in prime time. If you have to cater to the white trash soccer moms (good one, and put those shows before or after the soap operas. That goes for the challenges and various ______-offs. Once in a while OK but not in such heavy saturation.

Once again, this is not a recipe. Sandra Lee is more creative than this.

I do like trying a LOT of Rachel's ideas with appetizers, sides and main dishes--and most of them have been really good. Her desert "recipes" seem almost like they are filler for the television show. This one was a no-brainer....I've done this on my own for years and years. I'd stop with the deserts and quit giving all those bashers yet another reason to post lame comments where some of come to get ideas on what the dishes REALLY will be like.

this is a little crazy. I know some people have absolutly no imagination and could not come up with this in a million years, but this just seems beneath Rachel. I can't even see this being on a beginners cooking show like How To Boil Water.

To add even more flavor, I like to spread the pound cake slices with real butter, and toast in the oven for a short time. Then I top the toasted, buttery slices with the ice cream, and heated choc. sauce. It's great!
