Made this today for Thanksgiving dinner and it got raves. Since I knew I would be racing to get everything together today, I prepared the base of the soup yesterday (I added some allspice and just reheated it and added the cream right before serving. I also made the relish early in the day so I wouldn't have any last minute prep. I added would definitely make it again!

I have made this soup for the past two thanksgiving and this year will make it again back by popular request. It's so delicious! by the way, for the previous comment, you probably didn't know how to follow directions.

I was so excited to make this soup. I was very disappointed. It had no taste at all! If it wasn't for the relish it would have bombed big time. My husband who will like everything said this soup is not a keeper. I removed it from my Recipe Book.

This soup is delicious! I made it as a preview for Thanksgiving and my family and I devoured it at lunch & dinner. It is velvety and flavorful, but most of all easy.

I doubled the recipe and served this soup to 10. All raved and said, "It is a keeper." Great fall recipe! Thank you Rachel Ray! Relish added the perfect touch.

I found this recipe a few years ago and make it every year at Thanksgiving. A small cup works great as a starter. (I use half and half or whole milk instead of cream so it is a little lighter With the leftovers I add asiago cheese and a half jar of alfredo and use as a pasta sauce. It's excellent with tortellini. I look forward to this soup every fall!

What a delicious and easy recipe. The only thing is that I switched the hot sauce for crushed red pepper flakes and it was a bit more spicy than I intended, but still came out delicious.

I made this soup for 6 guests and they all loved it! One friend said he rates meals by placing a price on how much he would pay for an item if it were on a menu. He said he would pay $20 for the soup! It was very creamy and I LOVED the relish toping on top. Very very good.
