This is the first recipe of Rachael's that I tried. I will certainly be trying more. this was a very good dish. My family is picky about food and they loved it. Way to go Rachael!

When selecting your sauce, be sure to pick something yummy like garlic and basil or maybe even mushroom. I found the plain tomato sauce to be very bland. Also, make sure you leave the baking dish in the oven on warm between servings. No good when the cheese goods cold and looses it's gooiness! Oh, and I found the "chicken tenders" would make a fabulous snack with the right dipping sauce all on their own.

I read many of the reviews and just can't believe that anyone would call this dish bland. It was easy to make and very flavorful, little spicy. I did season my chicken before I browned it. I added some frozen bell pepper strips I had on hand, though you could use fresh. My husband thought the bell pepper was a perfect complement to the dish. This is most definitely a keeper! Yum-O!!!

while this recipe is fairly easy and quick, it lacks flavor. noticably absent are italian spices (i.e. oregano and/or basil. i failed to realize this until i ate it. next time i will add some oregano and basil, which i feel will make this recipe great. could also use crushed tomatoes with italian seasoning of you can find them

There are six people in my family and to find something that is so quick to make and tastes great, doesn't happen very often. This recipe is truly on of the best that I have tried from her. Very delicious! I will make this again!

Granted, I've never had chicken cacciatore before. : However, when our daughter was home for college over Christmas break, she wanted to try some simple recipes and we gave this one a whirl. It is amazing how simple and delicious this dish is.

i made this for my family & it was sooo easy & came out great!! i was so proud of myself!! the beef stock brings out so much in the mushrooms.

This was one of the fastest, easiest dinners I have made in a long time. I am a nursing student, so that's a big deal. It actually did taste as though I had cooked it all day. I should try more of her recipes.
