    Make sure to do the sour cream and apple sauce. I cut the onion in half and really didn't enjoy grating it but the taste was exceptional.

    These came out okay, but I thought they lacked flavor. I followed the recipe to a "T" and changed nothing - perhaps more seasoning would have helped them along. In all, these were really fun to try once, but I won't make them again.

    Rachael, you're quickly becoming my family's favourite celebrity! Tonight I made these, with a few adjustments. I used frozen hash browns, no carrots (the only ones I could find were for the guinea pig, and I added grated parmagianno-reggiano cheese. Three words -- deee - lish -- ush!

    I've always bought the boxed latkes mix, but this sounded so good and easy I had to try it. I may never buy the box again!
