I don't know how Rachael Ray makes these in 30 minutes, but it took us about 45! And there were two of us! Maybe we're just slow. Also, my boyfriend made many mistakes which kinda set us back a couple minutes. I would receommend cutting the asparagus into more bite-size lengths, maybe an inch or so, so they don't appear to stick out in this otherwise well put together ensemble.

I used this recipe for a family gathering, a quiet meal at home and when we had company over and it is great. The directions are somewhat out of order so read them carefully first. The magic of television must help Rachel Ray prep this meal in 15 minutes and cook it for 15 min because it always takes me about 45 min total. FYI- Add chese between the veggie layers to make them stick together. The 1st time I made it it was not great, but give it a 2nd try, it is well worth it! I can't wait to try it with a mixture of meat and cheese ravioli.

Made this for visiting family members(they're my guinea pigs, and everyone liked the lasagna. I would use cream next time instead of half and half.

WE have made this dish several times and for different dinner get-togethers. Every time people ask whose recipe it is and I say, Rachael Ray. Everyone loves it and I always have the printed out recipe close by so people can take it with them....
    YUM-O!

FAST if you are prepped ( i cooked the veggies/ravioli the day before, popped it in my warming oven with 3/4 of the cheese and did the broiling at the last second
Made it for a holiday meal....It is pretty,It stood up beautifully in my warming drawer for a couple hours while the other food cooked,
    BUT
1.I'd cut down on the spinach( and use fresh....and i added thin sliced portabellos...I think it would have been TOOO green otherwise.
    2. use better quality ravioli--and possibley something with more punch than CHEESE
