You wouldn't think this was good, but it really is. I made this dish as a side at a luncheon for some friends who are vegetarian. They loved it.

This recipe is a definite five star. Delightful and refreshing with the sweetness of the lemons and the apples. My husband won't eat sour cream so I used plain yogurt and I liked it even better. Try it! You won't be disappointed.

What a nice alternative to the usual salad. It is sweet and tangy, crunchy and soft and easy to make. I used dried dill as I didn't have fresh, but other than that I made it as directed. This is a nice cool side dish for summer.
Thanks, Carole in Orlando

This recipe is very simple, easy to make with basic ingredients but delivers great flavor. It tastes very fresh and light. There is a little too much sugar for my taste so I when I made it for the second time, I only put in 1 tbsp of sugar and it was better that way. It allows the flavors of the lemon and dill to come through better. I will make it again for sure- it's my favorite salad of the moment! My husband, who is not a great fan of salads, loved it as well!

I wasn't sure I wanted to try this when my husband found the recipe, but, it is fantastic! It is now one of our favorite salads in the summer.
