Very refreshing and it makes the wine go further for a crowd. Come on, we all know about this kind of drink, but it helps to see and then remember to make something different. You complainers with your negative attitude should just be silent and keep your mouths closed. You are really sad and should get a life instead of insulting others.

Substitute the following:

Use Sprite instead of water
White Wine instead of Red
Strawberries instead of blackberries

I made it for a party with a few couples and it was pretty bad.. I agree it is just ruining wine.. it did not taste very good AT ALL. It may be good for people who really really dislike wine.

I have tried this recipe on several of my friends and everytime they love it. Now I have a winner with all of my friends. This recipe is a great one especially when you can get the freshest berries from you local groccer. Thank you for posting this recipe.

I love wine already....this was another amazing twist on one of my favorites by RACHAEL!!! she is just amazing... I have given away many of my other recipe books that i've had for years, just b/c I love hers and get much more use out of hers now. and I love that I can get recipes from her shows that aren't in her books so even when I can't find something in the books (like that ever happens she's still on my tv with even MORE recipes....she AMAZES ME all the time. WAY TO GO RACHAEL!!! THANK YOU!!

I usually don't write reviews, but I just had to stick up for this simple refreshing drink. I used frozen berries, and it reminded me of a Sangria, but not as sweet.
Nice and simple, but very good.

This was good, and we drank a lot of it! We 'one upped it' by useing a box of burgandy, and there was enough for us and our guests.
I always like finding new reicipes for new drinks. aNd we like red wine!

They wouldn't let me leave my comment about the steak and salad she made on this show so thought I'd try to sneak it in here. Cook the steak but make your own salad. No raves on it!
