This dish reminded me of my mom's way of stretching the budget to feel 6 kids - macaroni & cheese with tuna and peas. This meal was super easy, more healthful, classier, and more delicious with that childhood memory bonus kickback. Loved the sun-dried tomatoes and used spaghetti instead. Husband raved!

I LOVE Tuna, and love tuna casserole - but this was so different and really great! (I must confess - I even ate it for breakfast....
My neighbors made it, and gave me a "to go" container - and they all gave it a thumbs up, too!

Being a single gal, I really don't cook that often unless the dish requires very little effort and doesn't take long to make. This meal truly took less than 30 minutes to cook, and required no more effort that chopping up the vegetables and throwing all the ingredients into a pan. This pasta has great flavor and also tastes really fresh. I decided used whole wheat fettucine to give it a little healthy twist. If you like tuna I highly reccomend this recipe.

Noticed a few people stating that the casserole was dry so I doubled the Sauce(wine and Cream. I used a little less pasta. The dish was good, not fantastic. May try with Chicken like a previous poster.

Everyone knows that Tuna is good for you, but really who likes to eat it. This recipe was a great way to eat tuna without wondering why did I fix this again?

This was an amazing and very simple dish. I served it as an entree with green beans and everyone went on and on about how good it was.

With the oil, cream and cheese in this dish I don't see it as being healthier than a can of soup. Plus this is not a casserole. A casserole is baked in the oven. Overall I prefer the original.

I agree with the poster above who said it was too expensive to make. Tuna Casserole is not one of the things you make when you have enough money to buy Italian oil packed tuna, sun-dried tomatoes, white wine, and parm-reg. cheese. If you had enough money to buy those ingredients, wouldn't you rather make something that actually tastes good, and is not so fattening, what with the heavy cream and cheese?

I used chicken instead of tuna b'cuz I don't like tuna. Also used the more traditional egg noodles. For those who don't like alcohol in there food you can use stock as Rachael mentioned in this show (chicken stock.

I have to admit I was skeptical! But this was so yummy, and even better the next day. Made it just as Rachel instructed.
